Field of work

I am engaged in research focusing on climate change management at the intersection of business, technology, and innovation. My research combines environmental assessment, data management, and applied monitoring technologies to address challenges related to sustainable development and climate adaptation.

Currently, I focus on innovative environmental monitoring for disaster risk reduction, where I develop new methods and apply advanced technologies to monitor and better understand changes in landscapes and geohazards, in particular glacier-related hazards and landslides.

Ongoing projects:

From Pixels to Predictions (07/2025-07/2026), innovation project with the aim to develop a flexible and low-cost geohazard monitoring system. 

Horizon Europe Project WHITECYCLE (06/2022-06/2026), applied research project to process and recycle PET from complex waste. Led by Michelin, 16 European partners. HVL is responsible for data management and leads WP on LCA and sustainability assessments. Whitecycle Project Website
