Field of work

I lecture and supervise nursing students at the bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD levels. My particular research interests include home care services, diabetes nursing and urological nursing. Further, to promote the insight the literature within these fields gives, and to  facilitate students’ development of clinical skills within a future-oriented professional reflection has been my main motivation for both education, research, and leadership. From 2018 to 2025, I served in a fixed-term employment as Head of HVL’s postgraduate specialist nursing programmes in Haugesund, Bergen, and Førde . The 14 specialitites are organised into 3 master programmes,  with approximately 50 academic employees in total, 170 new master students every even-numbered year, and 330 every odd-numbered year.
