Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule (OTH), Germany

OTH is a technical university with 11,000 students and is one of the largest universities in Germany. It offers 50 bachelor's and master's programmes in engineering, economics, design, architecture, health and social sciences. No PhD programmes. OTH coordinates the INTREPID-HEI project, in which HVL, UCA, VIVES, OUC and TTK participate.

Education

OTH has 200 partner universities worldwide, 1,000 international students, and 250 international exchange students from around the world per year. The university consists of eight faculties:

The research profile at OTH Regensburg is characterised by a very broad range of research content, which is not only developed within technical disciplines but is also closely linked to economics and social sciences. These areas stem from global megatrends affecting society. Their main areas are:

The five themes – supplemented by the cross-cutting areas of sensor technology and artificial intelligence/digitalisation – provide a thematic structure for the breadth of research. Regensburg has 120 laboratories.
